High Point, N.C. - Seven student-athletes from the University of Mount Olive men's and women's golf teams were named to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
Paula Guridi and Julia Kaeding were the two representatives from the UMO women's golf program, while Nick Adams, Harry Bayley, Ricky Gutierrez, Liam McAnally, and Markus Proesch were the five men's golf representatives.
Conference Carolinas All-Academic Teams recognize juniors and seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The GPA is calculated based on the student-athletes' cumulative average through the previous semester.
