MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive No. 15 Men's and No. 22 Women's track & field teams had a good showing at the Phoenix Invitational hosted by the Elon University on Saturday in Elon, N.C. UMO saw Candise Locket improve for the third week in a row on her NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark in the Hammer.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- Candy Locket had another great performance in the hammer throw improving her position on the NCAA Provisional Qualifier list for the third week in the row as Lockett rebroke her school record with her throw of 53.77.
- Tameia Morrison saw herself move into two spots in the top-10 in the hammer and shot put.
- Samantha Tobin also made two moves in the top-10 in the discus and the hammer
- UMO made several moves in the Top-10 over the weekend including eight Trojans moving into the rankings in 12 different events.
MEN'S NOTABLES
- On the men's side, Tom Kalliske made a jump into 2nd overall in the discus in the UMO record book.
UP NEXT
- The Trojans' men's and women's track and field teams will compete again in dual meets next weekend at the MtSac Relays in Walnut, Calif. as well as the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. on April 19-21.
