Track and Field's Tai Smith was named the 2019 UMO Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Smith, a junior Psychology major from Glendale, Ariz., was named the Conference Carolinas Fall Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the conference. He was also a three-time conference champion, all-conference, the conference player of the week, academic all-conference, and UMO Scholar-Athlete of the Month.
