North Georgia jumped on top of the Trojans in the first with seven runs highlighted by a pair of home runs by Connor Hoover and Andres Perez.

The Trojans answered with two runs in the bottom of the first on solo homers by Zach Mozingo and Drew Ellis that trimmed the Nighthawks' advantage to 7-2.

In the top of the third, North Georgia pushed two runs across on a two-run double by Devin Gearhart that increased the Nighthawks' lead back to seven at 9-2.
