MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- No. 19 University of Mount Olive's second game of a two-game series with No. 4 Florida Southern College at Scarborough Field was called in the middle of the top of the seventh inning following a medical injury to an official on Tuesday afternoon in Mount Olive, N.C. The game due to being past the fifth inning became an official contest and ended in a 0-0 tie.

- Mount Olive and Florida Southern were in a pitchers duel for the first three innings before both teams got their first hits.
