Men's Basketball To Play UNC In Exhibition: Tickets Now On Sale

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- University of Mount Olive men's basketball team will open the 2018-19 season against NCAA Division I powerhouse UNC on Friday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C. 

Game Preview

  • University of North Carolina forwards Luke Maye and Nassir Little both picked up preseason All-America honors for the Tar Heels, as UNC looks to try and regain their NCAA National Championship title from 2017. UNC finished 27-11 overall last year and No. 10 in the Associated Press poll with a near Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
  • Mount Olive returns to the court the 2017-18 Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year in Jamaal Matin and all-conference selection Dominique Tham. UMO went 17-12 last season and made a trip to the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship tournament.

Tickets are now on sale for the Trojans and Tar Heels exhibition game with the following packages available for sale from the UMO ticket office.

*Lower-Level tickets with bus transportation $50 

The bus will depart the Kornegay Arena parking lot Mount Olive at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the contest.
