Advance Tickets On Sale Now for the 54th Annual Mount Olive Pickle Classic

MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive plays host to the 54th Annual Mount Olive Pickle Classic on November 15-16 at Kornegay Arena. The Pickle Classic is presented by the Mt. Olive Pickle Company and the Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive. Advance all-session passes are Now On Sale in the UMO Athletics Office through November 14. 

Mount Olive returns to the court the 2018-19 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year Michael Brown and recently played NC State in an exhibition game. UMO went 14-16 last season and made a trip to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Championship tournament.

Below is the basketball schedule for Pickle Classic Weekend:

Friday, Nov. 15
Barton vs. Concord 5 p.m.
Virginia State vs. Mount Olive 7 p.m.
Jersey Retirement Ceremony halftime of game 2

Saturday, Nov. 16
Hall of Fame Ceremony Lois K. Murphy Regional Center 3 p.m.
Barton vs. Virginia State 5 p.m.
Concord vs. Mount Olive 7 p.m.  

Ticket Prices
All-Session Pass: $15 (advance sale only)
Single-Day Pass: $10 per day
(Children 4 and under admitted free)

Tickets can be purchased in person at the UMO Athletics Tickets Office (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday) or by calling 919-658-7759. 

In addition to the basketball contests, the 2019 University of Mount Olive Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on November 16 at 3 p.m. in the Lois K. Murphy Regional Center. This year's inductees are former baseball student-athlete Brad Church, softball student-athlete Jenny Jackson, women's soccer student-athlete April Jacobs, women's volleyball student-athlete Samantha Mitchell, and women's basketball student-athlete Brianna Williams.
