Nick Adams carded a 1-over-par 72-73-72-217 and tied for fifth out of 75 players after the final round of the Jay Jennison hosted by Flagler College Tuesday in St. Augustine, Fla.
Jesus Valderrama (76-73-74-223) tied for 14th, Sebastian Andersen (76-73-74-223) tied for 28th, John Thatch (79-77-83-239) tied for 62nd, and Jeff Villalobos (85- 80-77-242) finished 66th.
Mount Olive combined for a 900 (303-297-300) for the tournament and finished eighth out of 14 teams. Tournament host Flagler (873) was the tournament champion. Benedict Gebhardt from Wingate was the individual tournament champion.
The Trojans return to the greens October 7 when they will play in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
