No. 26 University of Mount Olive Men's Golf team took third after the final round at the UNC-P/Campbell Sunoco Classic in Wallace, N.C.
Nicholas Adams (74-71-77-222) tied for 3rd out of 75 golfers. Jeff Villalobos (77-72-76-225) tied for 19th. Jesus Valderrama (76-74-76-226) tied for 24th. Brady Hollenbacher (77-77-73-227) tied for 28th after being tied for 37th at the conclusion of day one. Sebastian Andersen (70-82-80-232)tied for 40th Liam McAnally (75-86-80-241) was not part of the team five score card as he played individually and tied for 61st.
Mount Olive (297-294-302-893) finished third place and four strokes shy of the lead. J.C. McFadyen (74-72-71-217) took the individual title. Erskine College (298-299-293-890) took the team title.
The Trojans will head home to host The Trojan next week April 6-7 in Goldsboro, N.C.
