GOLDSBORO, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's golf team finished 2nd out of 13 teams at Mount Olive's home tournament The Trojan Monday afternoon at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, N.C. The third round, set for Tuesday, was canceled due to impending weather.

Notables
- Patrick Schweitz led the Trojans by shooting a 75-70-145 overall (+1) for the tournament including shooting his lowest round of the season in the second round and finished second.
- Olle Ryberg, Brice Ballin, and Arthur Heinbach all finished inside the top-10.
- UMO's second round 295 was the four-lowest team score on the season.
- Mount Olive defeated the No. 19 ranked team in the country.
- Competing in UMO's B team Ruben van der Burg led the squad finishing tied for fifth.
