UMO Men's Golf Tied For The Lead After Opening Round At Cutter Creek Invitational

SNOW HILL, North Carolina – Freshman Cade Hancock carded a two-under par round to lead Mount Olive during the opening round of the Cutter Creek Invitational at the Cutter Creek Golf Club on Monday afternoon. Brice Ballin lead UMO's second team and is in a tie for first.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans first team of Cade Hancock, Arthur Heinbach, Patrick Schweitz, Olle Ryberg, and Chandler Perry, who are playing in their first tournament of the season, stand in a tie atop the field with a 294 team score. UMO placed four golfers inside the top-15. Mount Olive's second team of Brice Ballin Jakub Urbanski, Ruben van der Berg, Oliver Mollenhoff and Cole Scearce, is also in the top-5 as they sit fourth with a team score of 303.
 
Trojan Leaders
Ballin, is in a tie atop the field and leads all Trojans firing a three-under par during the opening round. Hancock, playing in his first tournament as a Trojan trails his teammate by one stroke as carded a 70 in the first round.
 
Sophomore Arthur Heinbach sits 10th after collecting a 74 in the first round, while seniors Patrick Schweitz and Olle Ryberg shot identical three-over scores to round out the Trojan team card placing 11th.
