UMO Men's Golf Wraps Up Play At Cutter Creek Invitational; Arthur Heinbach Wins Individual Medal

SNOW HILL, North Carolina – Sophomore Arthur Heinbach carded a one-under par round to win the individual title and lead Mount Olive to a third place finish after the final round of the Cutter Creek Invitational at the Cutter Creek Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. Brice Ballin lead UMO's second team and tied for second.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans first team of Cade HancockArthur HeinbachPatrick SchweitzOlle Ryberg, and Chandler Perry, who concluded their first tournament of the season, took third out of 10 teams with a 294-301=595 team score. Mount Olive's team score is second best from a season ago when the Trojans had 584 at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate heading into the final round UMO placed four golfers inside the top-15. Mount Olive's second team of Brice Ballin Jakub UrbanskiRuben van der BergOliver Mollenhoff and Cole Scearce, finished fifth with a team score of 303-323=626.
 
Trojan Leaders
Heinbach tied with teammates Ballin and Hancock in a four-way playoff to take individual medal. The sophomore dropped in a birdie on the second playoff hole and took the title.
 
Ballin and Hancock ended the tournament tied for second, while senior Patrick Schweitz (T-13), Olle Ryberg (T-20), and Jakub Urbanski (25) rounded out Mount Olive's performers inside the top 25
 
Up Next: The Trojans will travel to Kiawah Island, S.C. to compete in the Kiawah Island Invitational that is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16-17.
