UMO Golf Takes Third At Kiawah Island Invitational

KIAWAH ISLAND, South Carolina – Sophomore Brice Ballin finished inside the top-5 led the Trojans to a third-place finish after the final round of the Kiawah Island Invitational Tuesday afternoon in Kiawah Island, S.C.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans team of Brice BallinPatrick SchweitzOlle RybergCade Hancock, and Arthur Heinbach, finished in a tie for third with a 282-289=571 team score, taking 24 strokes off their team score from a week ago. UMO placed three golfers inside the top-25. The Trojans placed ahead of four top-35 ranked teams, out of six total in the field, and were the highest placing Conference Carolinas school.
 
Trojan Leaders
Ballin tied for fifth after firing in a six-under-par performance for the tournament to lead the Trojans. 
 
Senior Patrick Schweitz concluded the tournament one-under to sit in a tie for 20th and Olle Ryberg finished even to round out the Trojan finishers in the top-25.
