Mount Olive, N.C. – The 12th-ranked University of Mount Olive men's lacrosse team took down the Bobcats of Lees-McRae 20-3 in Conference Carolinas competition Saturday afternoon at the Ray McDonald Sr Track and Field/Lacrosse Complex.

FIRST QUARTER
- Mount Olive came out of the gates firing as Jacob Ball scored first with 13:54 on the clock.
- Ball's goal started a nine-goal run by the Trojans that encompassed the entire first quarter as UMO held a 9-0 lead heading into the second.
SECOND QUARTER
- Lees-McRae scored first in the second quarter to stop the Mount Olive run 15 seconds into the quarter.
- Zach Ruettgers used a Jacob Ball pass to start another Mount Olive run as the Trojans went up 12-1 with 11:19 left before halftime.
- LMC scored a man-up goal before Gunner Parson answered with another goal before the half ended as UMO held an 11 goal advantage at the break.
THIRD QUARTER
- The third quarter Mount Olive outscored the Bobcats 3-to-1 and continued to hold onto their lead 17-3.
FOURTH QUARTER
- The final quarter was all UMO as the Trojans scored only three goals, but did not allow a goal either taking the final horn victory over Lees-McRae 20-3.
KEY STATS
- Jacob Ball and Zach Ruettgers led the Trojans with three goals each.
