Trojans Win A Dogfight In Wilson 3-1
Azzam Dhamra scored the final goal as University of Mount Olive took a 3-1 victory over arch rival Barton College Tuesday night in Wilson, N.C. for Conference Carolinas men's soccer. The Trojans held off a late attack by the Bulldogs in the final 15 minutes of the match.

Mount Olive (4-2 Overall, 3-0 Conference Carolinas) was able to pick up the first goal of the game playing a man up in the 44th minute. Cooper Gaypia placed a cross across the box and found Trevor Knight on the far post for a one touch goal.

The Trojans continued the attack in the second half as Kevin Lopez drove down the mid field after a through ball by Louis Gorman for the 2-0 lead. Barton (1-6, 0-3) fought back in the 85th minute as a cross from Danny Peru connected with Rodrigo Neves and Barton trailed by one. 

Dhamra secured the win for the Trojans as 3:06 later he found the back of the net and Mount Olive took the win. 

Mount Olive will remain on the road as the Trojans travel to Due West, S.C. to play Erskine College Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
