First Half
- Mount Olive came out flat in the first period as the Trojans were outshot 10-to-1.
- Limestone picked up the game's first goal in the 8th minute as the Saints' Mats Kaiser headed a ball inside the near post to take the early lead.
Second Half
- Limestone continued to apply the pressure in the second period with a second goal, this time by Nestor Aguilar.
- Mount Olive had a great opportunity in the 62nd minute as Stefan Faria on a free kick curved a ball from 30 yards out; however, the ball hit the crossbar and rolled out of bounds.
- The Saints added two more goals in the 67th minute and also in the 69th, the latter coming off a penalty kick.
