Trojans Fall To Flying Fleet 4-2 In Men's Soccer Battle

DUE WEST, South Carolina – The University of Mount Olive men's soccer team saw a second-half collapse lead to a 4-2 defeat by Erskine College in Conference Carolinas Saturday afternoon in Due West, S.C.   
 
Game Information
The opening half Mount Olive got on the boards early as Trevor Berk scored on a deflection in the 11th minute. A foul in the box gave UMO a penalty kick opportunity in the 20th minute and Arthur Lucas blasted his shot into the back of the net boosting the visiting Trojans ahead by two. Unfortunately, the homestanding Flying Fleet fought back scoring one goal in the 23rd minute before halftime. That would not be the end of the scoring for EC as the put home three goals in the second half to give themselves the lead for the first time and then secure the win. 

 
Trojan Leaders
Berk and Lucas were the leaders as the only Trojan goal-scorers in the contest.

Iwan Roberts (2-6-1, 1-2-1) in goal for the Trojans recorded five saves on nine shots on goal.

Flying Fleet Leaders
Erskine was led by Kacper Zak who scored two of EC's four goals off two shots.

Key Moment
The first goal scored by Erskine started the momentum and led to what would be four unanswered goals.
