No. 50 Trojans Post 9-0 Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Win At Belmont Abbey

Nationally 50th-ranked Mount Olive remained unbeaten in conference play and posted its third shutout of the season as the Trojans defeated Belmont Abbey 9-0 in Conference Carolinas men's tennis Saturday at Belmont, N.C. The win improves the Trojans to 12-2 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

Mount Olive swept all three doubles matches and captured all six singles matches in straight sets. Stan Roffe won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.

Mount Olive remains tied with Coker for first place in the Conference Carolinas standings with two conference matches left.

The Trojans stay in the Charlotte area Sunday to take on Wingate in a non-conference match-up. Match time is 1 p.m.
