Nationally 24th-ranked University of Mount Olive swept all singles and doubles matches as the Trojans defeated Chowan University 9-0 in non-conference men's tennis Sunday at Murfreesboro, N.C. The win was the Trojans' fourth in a row.
Mount Olive (6-3) took a 3-0 lead after doubles play and won all six singles matches in straight sets. Martim Sousa dropped only one game at No. 6 singles.
Mount Olive resumes Conference Carolinas action Friday as the Trojans travel to Gaffney, S.C., to take on Limestone. Match time is 2 p.m.
