Misenheimer, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team captured a 6-3 victory over Pfeiffer University in Conference Carolinas action on Tuesday evening in Misenheimer, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- UMO opened the match taking two of the three doubles matches.
- Ogulcan Deniz and Martin Moser earned an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles while Jacob Clarke and Juan Arbelaez grabbed an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
- The Trojans took control of the match in singles competition where UMO won four of the six matchups.
- Jose Cortijos earned a hard-fought 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles while Moser glided past his Falcon opponent, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 3 singles.
- Mount Olive also took victories at No. 4 and 5 singles as Martim Sousa and Jack Middleton captured 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-3 wins, respectively.

The Trojans are back in action this weekend at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center as UMO hosts Emmanuel College (Ga.) at 2 p.m. on Friday before taking on Erskine College at 11 a.m. on Saturday in a pair of Conference Carolinas matches.
