CENTRAL, S.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team swept past the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University on Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action at the Rev. Leroy C. Tennis Complex in Central, S.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- UMO won all three doubles games to take a 3-0 lead over SWU heading into the singles flights.
- Jack Middleton & Armando Ferreira downed the No. 1 pair 6-4, while Martin Moser & Jose Cortijos Planas won the No. 2 doubles flight 8-5.
- Mount Olive's No. 3 pair of Pablo Safont Ferrer & Juan Arbelaez defeated the Warrior duo 8-3 to close out doubles action.
- Ferreira won 6-3, 7-5 in the No. 1 position while Moser won in the No. 2 spot 6-1, 6-4.
- Cortijos Planas won in the third position in an 8-5 pro-set and Middleton took down SWU's No. 4 player 6-4, 6-3.
- Safont Ferrer won another pro-set, 8-5, at the No. 5 flight and Sherzod Akramov closed things up with a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 6 flight.
