MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team defeated the reigning conference champions of Chowan University Tuesday afternoon at John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The Trojans swept the doubles point after going 2-0 to the begin of the match.
- Armando Ferreira and Milosh Petrovic teamed for 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Martin Moser and Pablo Safont Ferrer rolled to a 6-4 win at doubles No. 2.
- The No. 3 doubles pair Victor Nunez and Jack Middleton won due to a forfeit.
- Martin Moser No. 2, Pablo Safont Ferrer No. 4, and Victor Nunez No. 5 each only needed two sets to win each of their singles matches.
- Nunez led to a 6-0, 6-2 victory, while Safont Ferrer cruised 6-2, 6-3, followed by Moser finishing 6-4, 6-1.
- Two singles matches were unfinished due to the weather, followed by one forfeit.
