MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Mount Olive Trojans swept the Crusaders of North Greenville University 7-0 on Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas men's tennis action at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- UMO started the match with a pair of wins in the doubles flights to claim the point heading into singles.
- The No. 1 duo of Armando Ferreira and Milosh Petrovic, who rank 27th nationally in the ITA rankings, defeated the No. 1 NGU pair 6-1.
- Martin Moser and Pablo Safont Ferrer picked up a 6-2 win against the No. 2 duo while the No. 3 doubles match went unfinished.
- In singles action, the Trojans continued to dominate a tough Crusaders team.
- Ferreira started things off with a 6-1, 6-0 win over No. 71 Pierre Bedard in the No. 1 flight.
- Petrovic and Victor Nunez followed in the No. 3 and 5 flights recording 6-2, 6-1, and 6-1, 6-1 victories respectively.
- The even flights finished up the match with a 6, 2, 4 finish with Safont Ferrer winning the No. 6 flight 8-0 in a pro-set.
- Moser won the No. 2 singles bout 6-2, 6-1, and Jack Middleton finished up the day with an 8-3 pro-set win in the No. 4 flight.

The Trojans return to the John Neal Walker Tennis Center on Wednesday for a Conference Carolinas showdown against Belmont Abbey College. The Trojans and Crusaders meet on the court at 2 pm on Senior Day where Pablo Safont Ferrer, Martin Moser, and Alex Meseguer Carce will be recognized from the men's team.
