Trojans Post 2-0 Record At Coker College Men's Volleyball Tournament

Angel Dache recorded 15 kills in each match as University of Mount Olive posted wins over both a former and a future Conference Carolinas member at the Coker College Men's Volleyball Tournament Saturday at Hartsville, S.C. The Trojans overcame one-set deficits in both matches, defeating former conference member Coker 25-27, 25-23, 25-18, 25-22 and posting a 13-25, 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 15-6 victory over future member Emmanuel.

Saturday's two wins put Mount Olive (10-9) over the .500 mark for the first time since winning its season opener against Barton.

Mount Olive returns to action Wednesday as the Trojans play host to Division I and Ivy League member Princeton. The contest marks Mount Olive's third match against an Ivy League team in the 10-year history of the Trojan men's volleyball program. The Trojans posted two wins over Harvard in 2008.

Match time is 7 p.m. at Kornegay Arena.
