BRISTOL, TENN. --- The University of Mount Olive men's volleyball team fell to the No. 8 Ramblers of Loyola University Chicago in three sets on Friday evening at the Student Center Complex in Bristol, Tenn.

How It Happened
Play-by-Play
FIRST SET
- Loyola got on the scoreboard first but Mount Olive took a 3-1 lead following a pair of kills, one each from Luke Visgitis and Tobi Azeez, and a solo block by Luke Visgitis.
- The Trojans held on to a slim 6-5 lead following two Rambler errors and a kill by Iyanu Adebisi.
- A 5-1 run by Loyola gave the Ramblers a 10-7 lead but the Trojans came back to knot the score at 10 all following a pair of LUC errors and an ace by Shane Yeo.
- LUC took off on a 9-2 run going up 19-12 and forced UMO to call their second timeout of the set.
- The Trojans scored two more points in the remainder of the set, one on a LUC service error and the other from a triple block by Shane Yeo, Eric Visgitis, and Brad Monaghan, before the Ramblers reached 25 points for the set to win.
SECOND SET
- UMO opened the second set on a 5-3 run that included three kills, two by Azeez and one from Adebisi, an ace from Azeez and a LUC service error.
- The Ramblers went on a 13-3 rally that gave LUC a 16-8 lead midway through the set.
- Mount Olive climbed within five points, 17-12, following four errors by Loyola, however, the Trojans ran out of time as the Ramblers went on an 8-1 run to close out the second set 25-13.
THIRD SET
- Like the previous two sets, the Trojans hung with the Ramblers through the opening serves with UMO leading 7-6 following a kill by Azeez.
- Loyola went on an 11-3 run that put them ahead 17-10.
- A kill by Jarrod Ferguson and a triple block by Luke Visgitis, Shane Yeo, and Tobi Azeez, were two of the five points scored by the Trojans who fell short of a comeback as Loyola took the third set 25-15 and the match 3-0.
