  • Held scoreless in the fifth, UMO found its answer in the sixth inning as Anna Ingram doubled to left field scoring Kayla Allen and Power to tie the game at three.
  • As was true most of the afternoon, LMU immediately responded with a five-run top of the seventh to move in front 8-3.

  • The Railsplitters' bats were silent until the fourth when LMU scored three runs to take a 3-1 lead over UMO.
  • UMO tied the game in the bottom half of the fifth as JenniBeth Burge and Charlene Thompson both knocked in a run.
  • A pair of runs in the sixth and a single tally in the seventh provided the needed cushion for LMU as the Railsplitters took the second game, 6-3.
