Central, S.C. --- The University of Mount Olive softball team split a doubleheader with Southern Wesleyan University, 13-1 (5 innings) and 11-3 (Win, 5 innings), on Saturday afternoon in Central, S.C.

GAME ONE

  • Mount Olive struck first in the top of the third inning as freshman Kelsey Hayes stole third base and came home on a Warrior error.
  • In the bottom of the third, Southern Wesleyan erupted for nine runs to take a 9-1 advantage.
