HARTWELL, Ga. - The University of Mount Olive women's golf team is currently T-7th after the first round of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship Sunday afternoon in Hartwell, Ga.

Notables
- Johanna Andersson led the Trojans with a three-over par performance in the opening round of the conference tournament. The Junior played two over through the front nine and only had five bogies the entire round to finish in a tie for 7th.
- Linn Andersson just missed being inside the top-10 by a stroke as she shot a 79 including a birdie on her first hole of the championship the No. 1 par five.
- Mount Olive sits three strokes off of four place and 24 strokes behind the tournament leader.
