Women's Golf Opens Play At Patsy Rendleman

SALISBURY, North Carolina – Senior Lindsey Burton carded a 73 to lead the University of Mount Olive to a fourth-place finish after the first round of the Patsy Rendleman at the Country Club of Salisbury on Monday.
 
Tournament Information
The Trojans, who are coming off a runner-up finish at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, sit in fourth out of 18 teams with a 301 team score. UMO's team of Lindsey BurtonLinn Andersson, Johanna Andersson, and Linn Bergman all placed inside the top-35.
 
Trojan Leaders
Burton is the sole Trojan in the top-10 as her one-over-par round placed her in a tie for eighth. She was also the second-best in the field in par-3 scoring on the day. Linn Andersson shot a 75 to sit in a tie for 16th, Johanna Andersson finished one stroke behind her teammate and is in a tie for 23rd, while Bergman's 77 placed her t-31 to round out the Trojans team card.
