Mount Olive Drops to Limestone 21-0

Mount Olive was unable to stop the Limestone College offensive attack as they took the 21-0 loss in Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse Saturday afternoon in Gaffney, S.C. The shutout against the Trojans (3-1 Overall, 1-1 Conference Carolinas) is the first time in school history and of the season.

Katie Farrell scored the opening goal for the Saints with 29:10 left in the first half. Ferrell scored five of Limestone's (4-0,2-0) 15 first half goals.

Limestone added six more goals in the second half.

Deffensively for the Trojans, Hannah Knight led the team with three groundballs and had nine saves in goal.

Mount Olive will return to action next week as they travel to play non-conference opponent Tampa in Tampa, Fla. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
