FIRST HALF

  • Tiffin scored first as the Dragons recorded a goal just 49 seconds into the contest to take a 1-0 lead.
  • The Dragons followed up the early goal with three more to push Tiffin ahead 4-0 with 17:42 left in the opening half.
  • Junior Michaela Ciciarelli tallied the Trojans' first goal with 15:12 remaining in the half off an assist from freshman Jackie Kaderabek, cutting TU's advantage to 4-1.
  • Tiffin responded with three-straight goals that gave the Dragons a 7-1 lead with 3:17 left in the period.
  • UMO cut its deficit to five at the break as Kaderabek scored an unassisted goal with 1:38 remaining in the half to send the Trojans to the halftime break trailing 7-2.

SECOND HALF

  • The Trojans showed plenty of fight in the opening 15 minutes of the second half as UMO outscored Tiffin 5-2 and cut the Dragons' lead to just two at 9-7 with 13:41 left to play.
  • Mount Olive's 5-2 run featured a pair of goals by freshman Bree Richards and single goals by Kaderabek and fellow freshmen Kiara Burke and Nola Wesche.
  • Tiffin responded to the Trojans' run with four-straight goals to push the Dragons' advantage back to six at 13-7 with 6:57 remaining in the game.
  • In the final minutes, UMO cut the final margin to five as senior Kali Cook-Grisewood found the back of the net with 5:25 left on the clock.
