Shughrue Leads Trojans To Victory In Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Quarterfinals Match Over Bulldogs

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's lacrosse team defeated the Bulldogs of Barton College 15-2 in the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Quarterfinals at the Ray McDonald Sr. Track & Field/Lacrosse Complex in Mount Olive, N.C. Jordan Shughrue led the Trojans with five goals and took over the program record for goals in a season passing Riann Daziel's 67 as Shughrue now has 68 to her credit.

  • Barton got on the scoreboard as the Bulldogs scored the first goal of the second half three minutes into the action.
  • Burke recorded her second goal of the game to give UMO a 13-1 lead.
