MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The No. 23 Mount Olive Trojans defeated the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University 24-0 in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse championship tournament on Monday afternoon at the Ray McDonald Sr. Sports Complex in Mount Olive, N.C. Freshman Meaghan Michaud tallied nine points in the match on four goals and five assists to lead the way for the Trojans.

FIRST HALF
- The Trojans dominated the entire match starting with a 14 goal lead at the halftime break. Seven Mount Olive athletes scored in the opening half with three ladies, Skylar Grady, Jackie Kaderabek, and Meaghan Michaud, recording hat tricks in the opening 30 minutes.
- Nola Wesche found a pair of goals in the opening half while Tiffany Lee, Skye Bradley, and Jordan Shughrue each tallied one.
SECOND HALF
- Six ladies scored the remaining ten goals in the second half with Lee leading the way with her own hat trick. Shughrue and Zoe Dougherty each collected a pair of goals, while Michaud, Kelly Young, and Morgan Nicholson each put one goal on the board to get in the stats columns.
KEY STATS
- Meaghan Michaud tallied nine points in the match on four goals and five assists to lead the way for the Trojans.
- Jackie Kaderabek and Tiffany Lee each had five points in the game with Kaderabek collecting hers on three goals and two assists and Lee finding her points on four goals and one assist.
