The Bearcats took the next three weight classes of 174, 184, and 197 taking a 12-4 lead in the match score. Ogden Atwood came to the mat next for UMO at heavyweight and scored six points for the Trojans after winning by disqualification following his opponents' fifth stalling call. Prior to the DQ, Atwood was leading 13-3.

Moving to the lightweights, Hayden Waddell got UMO another six points by pinning his opponent Austin Ross in 2:02 putting the Trojans ahead of the Bearcats 16-12. Lander reclaimed the lead, 18-16, after winning the 133 weight class due to a medical forfeit by Jordan McKinney who took a hard slam from William Olivas. A 10-2 major decision from Dylan Wilman put Mount Olive back in the lead 20-18 with two matches remaining.
