First Half

-Mount Olive took advantage of an early foul by Francis Marion in the 6th minute as the Trojans set up their attack. Senior Niza Vera struck for goal 5:48 into the opening period, but the Patriots keeper was able to make the save.
-The save deflected into the opening feet of Isabella Nunu who tapped the ball in from six yards out.
-The Trojans' defense held strong as they did not allow Francis Marion to take more than one shot in the first half.

Second Half

-Trojans maintained to lead despite being outshot 7-5 in second half.
