Mount Olive, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive utilized five second-half goals to lift the Trojans past Erskine 5-0 in Conference Carolinas women's soccer Saturday afternoon at Amon Field.

First Half

  • The Trojans were held off the scoreboard despite outshooting the Flying Fleet 7-to-3 in the opening half.

Second Half 

  • Mount Olive exploded in the second half and started the attack early with Hannah Kirk second into the half.
  • Lauren Mumford took a shot on goal but the Erskine keeper came up with a save just 49 seconds ticked off the game clock. 
  • The save found the head of Kirk who put the shot away into the near post and Mount Olive led 1-0.
