MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive topped the Tornado of King University 4-2 in Conference Carolinas women's soccer Saturday afternoon at Amon Field.

Play-by-Play
First Half
- Mount Olive came out of the gates hot as the Trojans took an early 1-0 lead off a Kendall Blaine score in the 30th minute.
- Lauren Mumford gave UMO a little more breathing room as she netted her first goal of the game off a Hannah Kirk pass in the 40th minute.
Second Half
- The Trojans extended their lead to three when Mumford collected her second goal of the game in the 47th minute.
- At the 47:00 mark King found an answer to the Trojans' offense as Reagan Dempsey decreased the Tornado deficit to 3-1.
- UMO was able to answer, however, in the 75th min when Blaine recorded her second goal on a pass from Selena Montelongo.
- King was able to pick up one final goal in the 88th minute but was unable to complete the comeback.
