How It Happened
Play-by-Play

First Half

  • The momentum fell into the hands of North Greenville in the opening 12 minutes as the Crusaders outshot the Trojans 4-to-1. The pressure, however, proved to be too much as the UMO defensive backline was beaten once again in the 13th minute and the ball trickled past the keeper for the first score of the game.
  • The score remained deadlocked at 1-0 for most of the remainder of the first half until NGU extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal at the 41:58 mark and took a two-goal lead into the break.

Second Half

  • The Trojans had no answer for the Crusader's attack in the second half as North Greenville blasted home three more goals to balloon their lead to 5-0 and solidify the victory for NGU.
