Mount Olive, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team fell to Barton College 2-1 in a Conference Carolinas contest at Amon Field, Tuesday afternoon. It was also senior day for Kaylee Larson, Lauren Mumford, Vivian Fernandez, and Kara Scott.

First Half
- The first half was a stalemate as neither team managed to get on the scoreboard as each team recorded two shots on frame.
Second Half
- Mount Olive wasted no time in the second half getting their offense started as Jaelyn Brown put UMO in front 1-0 5:24 into the half.
- Barton found an answer 13 minutes later in the 64th minute to knot the game at one.
- The Trojans had an opportunity to get the go-ahead goal as a foul in the box gave UMO a penalty kick in the 68th minute, but the Barton keeper was able to block the attempted score and keep the game at one all.
- BC in the 72nd minute utilized a deflection off a save and punched in the game-winner to give the Bulldogs the 2-1 win.
