Trojans Tame Cobras Of Coker 4-1

HARTSVILLE, South Carolina– The University of Mount Olive women's soccer team took down the Cobras of Coker University 4-1 in non-conference action Wednesday night at the Coker Athletics Field in Hartsville, S.C.
 
Game Information
The Trojans scored quickly as Jaelyn Brown gave UMO the momentum to start with her score at the 4:20 mark of the first half. Brown picked up her second goal 35 seconds later when Emily Sanders found the senior for the second goal. Mount Olive went onto score once more when Aimee Darrow found Kali Schindler and the Trojans led by three. Now Coker had a chance to score and they did not squander the opportunity taking a 3-1 deficit into the break.

Brown recorded one final goal to secure the hat trick for her and the win for Mount Olive in the second half. 

 
Trojan Leaders
Mount Olive was led by Jaelyn Brown who scored all but one of UMO's goals. 

Nicole Solicito (1-0) in the game recorded two saves on three shots.

Cobra Leaders
Coker was led by Grayson Chappell who had the lone score for the Cobras.
