No. 3 seed University of Mount Olive defeated No. 6 seed Barton College 5-0 in the first round of the 2015 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Tournament Friday at Sumter, S.C. The win was the Trojans' second over Barton in the past four days.
Mount Olive's season came to an end later in the day as the Trojans fell to No. 2 seed Pfeiffer University 5-0 in the semifinal round.
Mount Olive ends it season with a record of 14-6.
