No. 2 seed University of Mount Olive fell 5-1 to No. 3 seed Limestone College in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Tournament.
In the opening of the semifinals Alejandra Hernandez and Stella Di Michele won at No. 1 doubles to give Mount Olive a win as the Trojans trailed 2-1 heading into singles play.
Mount Olive (11-7) was unable to recover in singles play as the Saints took the next three matches at No. 2, No. 5, and No. 6.
Mount Olive finishes the 2015-16 season with an 11-7 overall and a 9-2 Conference Carolinas record, good enough for a third place finish.
Stella Di Michele was also named to the All-Tournament team.
