Misenheimer, N.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team earned a 7-2 victory over Pfeiffer University in Conference Carolinas action on Tuesday evening in Misenheimer, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The Trojans got out to a fast start as UMO swept all three doubles matchups.
- Stella Di Michelle and Julie Gonzalez-Rodriguez earned an 8-7 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Alejandra Hernandez and Mariana Gamboa captured an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
- UMO completed the doubles sweep with an 8-1 victory by Nicole La Chappelle and Emma Burroughs at No. 3 doubles.
- In singles action, Pfeiffer fought back, taking a pair of singles matchups from the Trojans.
- Gonzalez-Rodriguez earned a marathon 4-6, 6-3, 11-9 win at No. 2 singles, while La Chappelle grabbed a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles to help power the Trojans to the 7-2 match victory.

The Trojans are back in action this weekend at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center as UMO hosts Emmanuel College (Ga.) at 2 p.m. on Friday before taking on Erskine College at 11 a.m. on Saturday in a pair of Conference Carolinas matches.
