Hilton Head, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team fell in a non-conference match with Edinboro University, 6-3, on Friday morning in Hilton Head, S.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- In doubles play, Edinboro jumped out to a 2-1 lead with the lone win for the Trojans coming at No. 1 doubles as senior Stella Di Michelle and sophomore Julie Gonzalez-Rodriguez earned an 8-3 win.
- UMO grabbed a pair of victories in singles action at No. 1 and No. 2 as Di Michelle won at No. 1, 6-3, 6-4, and Gonzalez-Rodriguez came through with a 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 victory at No. 2.
- Edinboro finished off the match capturing wins at No. 3 through 6 singles as the Fighting Scots earned the 6-3 match win.
