Sumter, S.C. – The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team earned a berth in the Conference Carolinas Tournament championship match with a 5-4 victory over top-seeded Limestone College on Saturday afternoon at the Sumter Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.

- The Trojans found themselves behind 2-1 after doubles action.
- UMO's lone victory at doubles came at No. 1 doubles as seniors Stella Di Michele and Julie Gonzalez-Rodriguez captured an 8-3 win.
- The Trojans stormed back in singles play grabbing the come-from-behind match victory by taking four of the six singles matchups.
- Di Michele grabbed a comeback victory at No. 1 singles, 1-6, 6-1, 6-4, after dropping the first set, while Gonzalez-Rodriguez glided past her opponent at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
- Senior Alejandra Hernandez rolled at no. 3 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win, while fellow senior Mariana Gamboa was forced to come from behind in a tough 1-6, 7-6, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles.
