MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Mount Olive Trojans swept the Valkyries of Converse College 6-1 on Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action at John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C.

- Mount Olive took a 1-0 lead in the match score following a quick sweep of doubles No. 1 & 2 by the Trojans.
- Lina Maria Alarcon and Arianna Orozco took a 6-2 win as the No. 1 doubles pair, while Deike Schipper and Carmen Espinos, the No. 2 duo, won 7-5.
- Alarcon No. 2, Orozco No. 3, Schipper No. 4, Espinos No. 5 and Emma Burroughs No.6 all picked up wins in their respective singles matches against the Valkyries.
