MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Mount Olive Trojans swept the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University 7-0 on Thursday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center in Mount Olive, N.C.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- UMO took all three doubles matches as Lina Maria Alarcon and Arianna Orozco won at No. 1, 6-4, and Deike Schipper and Carmen Espinos took the No. 2 doubles match 6-1.
- Ece Yuksel and Emma Burroughs won the No. 3 flight by default as SWU did not have enough players to play the third flight.
- The No. 1, 2, and 4 flights were the first to play the singles bouts with UMO picking up wins in all three.
- Schipper won her match first with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 4 flight. Alarcon followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win as the No. 2 player.
- Flights No. 3 and 5 started and finished before Ece Yuksel won the No. 1 flight in three sets 6-1, 5-7, 10-6.
- Orozco won the third flight 8-0 and Espinos also won 8-0 at the fifth flight as the pair played pro sets as the match was already clinched by Mount Olive.
- Emma Burroughs won by default at singles No. 6.
