Day Two - ITA Women's Southeast Regional Championships

SUMTER, South Carolina - The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team battled on day two but found themselves being knocked out in the consolation rounds at the ITA Southeast Regional Small College/Oracle Championships.

Liza Voloshyna was the last of the four UMO players still playing in the championship bracket in the round of 32. Voloshyna did not advance to the Sweet 16 as she fell to Flagler's Eden Schlagenhauf 6-0. 6-1.

Ece Yuksel advanced to the fourth round of the consolation bracket after defeating Luize Valtere from Erskine 7-6 (2), 6-0 and will face Anna Moller of the University of North Georgia for a chance at the consolation quarterfinals.

Ingrid Montserrat Montero defeated her opponent, Marta Rozados of Emmanuel College, 7-5, 7-6 (5) in the consolation backdraws.

The duo of Montserrat Montero and Arianna Orozco fell in the round of 32 to a pair from Queens University 6-1, ending their run in the tournament.

Voloshyna and Yuksel won their match in the round of 32, 6-2, over a pair from University of North Georgia, but fell in the round of 16 to a duo from Flagler College 6-3 to conclude their tournament run.
