Mount Olive Track And Field Start Season Off With A Bang

While the Cross Country men were making muddy history in Kentucky, thirteen Track & Field athletes were making history of their own at the JDL Kick-Off this past Saturday Dec 6 in Winston-Salem, NC.

Nick Greyno and CharDe Washington both obliterated the school records for weight throw.

CharDe Washington beat her own school record with a weight throw of 15.15m, her prior record was 13.64m. She was also 1st place in the meet for the women beating out two Division I throwers from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Nick Greyno's weight throw was 15.46m a new school record toppling the previous 13.85m. His shot put throw came in at 13.28m a personal best and just missed the school record by 0.04m.

Angus Sinclair had a great high jump landing in at 1.99m a new school record, which was previously held by Angus Sinclair (1.95m).

Ten other Trojans moved their way up the top-10 lists in several events.

Karl Goodman 60m 7.19 Personal Best (5th on UMO top-10) 400m 51.65
