MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The No. 26th University of Mount Olive track & field men's team and No. 16th Women's team had a successful showing at the Mount Olive Pickle Field Day Relays on Friday. The Trojans saw two NCAA Provisional qualifying marks, three school records broken, and numerous moves in the UMO top-10.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- On the women's side, Jacqueline Thring, Kristen Clarke, Samantha Tobin, Shona Blades, and Tameia Morrison all made moves in the UMO top-10.
- Thring moved into 3rd in the 400m while Clarke moved into 5th in the 200m.
- In the discus, Tobin with her throw of 37.37m moved into 7th all-time.
- Blades and Morrison moved into 10th place all-time respectively in their respective events.
MEN'S NOTABLES
- On the men's side, the 4x100m relay team of Johnny Middlebrooks, Sven Bulik, Trevor Carr, and Zach Jenkins made a bid for the NCAA DII Outdoor national championship with their NCAA Provisional qualifying time of 40.55, the first in school history. The team also broke the school record in the process.
- Luke Miller also helped get himself a potential bid national championship with his provo time in the javelin, breaking the school record in the process.
- Martin Bayles broke his own school record in the pole vault with his height of 4.60m.
- Ethan Swenson had a stellar day setting personal bests in the pole vault, 110m hurdles, and javelin, moving into 7th, 9th, and 10th place respectively in the UMO record books.
- Ben Howard moved into 2nd all-time in the discus.
- Jamiroquia Faison in the long jump moved into 7th all-time, while Ivan Lopez-Testillano moved into the top-10 in the triple jump.
- Lastly, Richard Fisher took 9th in the UMO record books in the 200m with his time of 22.13.
